One version of poker comes in the shape of mixed poker. This requires the player to play one half hour of one game and then another half hour of a different game; for example a player may begin with a half hour of Seven-card stud, prior to moving on to another half hour of Texas hold ‘em.

The most popular version of mixed poker comes in the shape of H.O.R.S.E. H.O.R.S.E poker is a mixture of a variety of poker variants. These include Texas hold ‘em poker, Omaha high-low, Razz, Seven Card Stud Eight-or-better and Seven-card stud poker. The game of H.O.R.S.E poker will usually be played by the punters for a fixed number of hands or alternatively for a fixed time. After this players will then move onto the next game.

As well as the above game of mixed poker, there are also a variety of other versions. These include the likes of H.O.S.E, which is almost identical to H.O.R.S.E; the only different being that it doesn’t involve Razz.

H.O.E is another version; this again is similar to that of H.O.R.S.E. It doesn’t however feature Razz or Seven-card stud.

H.O features only Texas hold’ em and Omaha high-low.

O.E includes both Seven-card Stud Eight or better or Omaha high-low.

H.A includes both pot limit Omaha and pot limits Texas hold ‘em poker.

Omaha high-low Mixed has a fixed limit Omaha as well as a pot limit Omaha high-low.

Hold’ em Mixed has both a fixed limit and a no limit; Texas hold’em and Eight Game Mix offers a fixed limit 2-7 Triple Draw, a no limit Texas hold ‘em, Razz, a fixed limit Omaha Hi-Low Eight or better, a fixed limit Seven-card stud, a fixed limit Seven-card stud Hi-Low eight or better and a pot limit.
